I believe the Church has a responsibility to be in relationship with our neighbors. My passion for networking, growing relationships and learning from others never ceases. I particularly love networking at Chamber of Commerce events to learn about nonprofit ways our religious community can grow and connect locally as well as interfaith forums and dialogues.
Churches are ineffective if they operate in a bubble.
I am constantly placing myself around the city, hoping to build connections and make new friendships and figure out ways to professionally collaborate to make the world a better place.

Scriptural Reasoning
Trained by Rose Castle Foundation, I enjoy interfaith dialogue with faith traditions using a tool and approved guidelines and documents from Cambridge University’s Interfaith Programme- Scriptural Reasoning. I am also a trained facilitator, and trainer of advanced facilitators. This method is best used with there is an equal number of members participating from each faith tradition. Scriptural Reasoning materials use the Abrahamic faiths.
I love studying the Qur’an and the Hebrew Bible and have learned and grown so much in my own tradition as a result of these spiritual conversations. I find that Christianity through the eyes of outside faiths is thought provoking and meaningful.
Interfaith Partnerships
My experience as a Religious Peace Fellow with Odyssey Impact, NYC taught me the importance of real relationship with other faith traditions (including Christian groups from other denominations). Being in relationship means meals together, interfaith dialogue at times, attending interfaith events and engaging in radical hospitality.
I organize Interfaith events for my current call in New Orleans, having hosted with neighbors the following events:
2 Part Faith Dialogue Exchange with Abu Baker Masjid (Mosque)
Noon Prayer at the Masjid
Bahai Introduction 101
Living Christ, Living Buddha Book Discussion
Attending Interfaith Memorial Service/ Thanksgiving Service Participations and Receptions
Hosting Video Screenings at APTS on interfaith dialogues
12 Scriptural Reasonings
1 SR Facilitator training with Virginia Theological Seminary + Rose Castle
Jewish Synagogue Visits and Conversations
Attending Iftar with Neighbors during Ramadan
Attending Dialogue Institutes in Austin, Texas
Traveling to Egypt and visiting Center for Religious Peace with Rose Castle Foundation.
